Samui
Koh Samui is a small island on the coast of Thailand. It is an amazing place which has steered through the wheel of time and has emerged from being essentially an agrarian economy to one of the developed places in Thailand. It has wonderfully evolved as a symbol of contemporary as well as ancient belonging. This unique feature of the place makes it a very intriguing and desired place for visit. Koh Samui is a very located in its history though it has a fairly modern setup. Koh Samui has ancient houses which are one of its primary attractions. These houses are made of teakwood and they do not have any nails attached to it. These ancient houses have assumed the status of a heritage site built around 150 years ago. These houses have exclusive wooden carvings and designs. The other famous attractions of the place are the big Buddha which is a religious statue built for visitors to pay respect to lord Buddha. The butterfly garden is yet another attraction which has a number of species of butterflies as well as bee houses. The magic Buddha garden is famous for its statues, gardens and waterfalls. Koh Samui has a number of waterfalls; the Namuang waterfall and the Hin Lad waterfall are the two popular waterfalls in Koh Samui. Koh Samui apart from being abundant in natural beauty is also rich in its culture and that is why it manages to attract tourists throughout the year. Due to its growth and uniqueness it is rightly called the coast of wonders.
